To SHARE a knowledge of the practical methods of attaining direct alignment with and a personal experience of one’s “Greater Self”; To TEACH that a major purpose of life is the evolution of our limited mortal consciousness into a Higher Consciousness; To ENABLE people to become centered, in contact with their inner Source of power and thus use spiritual energy more effectively; To ASSIST others in liberating themselves from their three part suffering: physical imbalance, mental disharmony, and spiritual ignorance; To ENCOURAGE sensible living and high thinking so that people may more easily determine and then do that which is right; To DEMONSTRATE the superiority of spirit over mind, and mind over body, but not to negate unduly any aspect of one’s expression; To OVERCOME ignorance with truth, superstition with knowledge, and fear with wisdom and understanding; To PROVE that all good things - joy, peace, health, inspiration, etc., come from within, in God’s way and in God’s time; To SERVE others as we ourselves would like to be served, with concern for others equal to that for self; To BRING a greater moral sense of dignity, brotherhood, compassion, and harmony into the world. |
